Born in Valencia, Spain. Technical Engineer in Topography (2000) from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV). San Isidoro prize for the best academic record of her year. Master of Surveying and Geoinformation from the Vienna University of Technology (2002), where she studied for three years at the Institute for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing under the tutelage of Karl Kraus. Engineer in Geodesy and Cartography (2003) from the UPV. Doctor Cum Laude in Visual Arts and Intermedia (2008) from the UPV. Doctoral Thesis title: "Augmented Reality Environments in the Field of Art".
In 2004 she was awarded a Training of Research Personnel research grant by the Ministry of Education and Science, to join the Light Laboratory (UPV, Department of Painting) and collaborate on the project "Augmented Perception: a Dual System of Augmented Reality". In 2005, she spent 6 months in the Mixed Reality Laboratory at the University of Nottingham (UK), where she carried out trials for her thesis. In 2006 she spent 6 months in the Mixed Reality Lab of the National University of Singapore, where she carried out further trials for her thesis. From 2008 to 2010, she worked as a researcher at GIFLE, UPV. From 2010 to 2011, she worked at the Instituto de Óptica, Color e Imagen (AIDO), where she did an intensive work in the area of image processing, multispectral imaging and classification methods, participating in FP7-SYDDARTA. In 2011 she received the Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral grant by the Ministry of Spain to work at the Institue of Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC). She is currently researching on the calibration of cameras/projectors and advanced 3D reconstruction techniques based on structured light techniques.
